Tim Kuenzel

Guitar Instructor

Tim Kuenzel is a guitar player who has experience in many different styles of music including Classical, Blues, Jazz and Rock music. He has played in a number of performance settings. Notably acoustic guitar shows in Cedar Rapids and Marion as well as a number of Jazz combo groups during his time at Kirkwood Community College. He has also had the privilege of backing Kirkwood’s reputable vocal jazz group, RSVP. 

Though Tim has always had a driving passion for music he has found his professional career within his other passion as a Special Education Teacher at West Liberty Community School District.

Tim is always excited to teach students and find ways to motivate them to succeed in anything they are trying to learn. He is excited to take his love of teaching and combine it with his passion for playing guitar.
