Pat Hogan

Pat Hogan has a long history as an instrumental and vocal music teacher in Southwest Iowa. She was trained as a classical flutist and holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Music Education from Northwest Missouri State University and a Master of Science degree in Counselor Education from Drake University. Pat has experience in all areas of instrumental and vocal music: concert band, jazz band, marching band, concert choir, show choir, musicals, All-State Music Festival, State Solo/Ensemble Contest as well as serving in various capacities as an accompanist and adjudicator. She was a flutist in the Saint Joseph Symphony, a professional orchestra in Saint Joseph, Missouri, as well as a flute instructor for NWMSU Marching Band Camps. Pat has been active in church choirs, both as a member and director. She has played piano and flute for many weddings, funerals, social and community events. 

In her free time, Pat enjoys spending time with her eight grandchildren along with substitute teaching in Orchestra, Band, and Vocal Music for Mount Vernon Schools.
